This weekend we caught tons of BIG Male crappies off the bank early (6am – 8am) in about 3 ft of water. Then after 8:30am the bigger crappies migrated off the banks to the first brush pile they could find in anywhere from 5ft – 10ft of water. We used Fle-fly GoGo Minnows, casted into shallow areas till we found a spawning bed. Then switch to bobber and live minnows and casted right over the top of them. Caught about 50 crappie before 9am. Get out there and fish! This is one of the best times of the year to go crappie fishing!
